To ensure you receive the full quoted value for your device, it must arrive at the buyer’s facility in the same condition you described. Follow these steps for a safe transit.

1. Back Up and Wipe Your Data

Before packing, back up your photos and contacts. Perform a factory reset and ensure all accounts (like iCloud or Google) are removed. Buyers cannot process locked devices.

2. Use a Sturdy Box

Avoid using padded envelopes for smartphones. A small, rigid cardboard box provides significantly better protection against crushing during transit.

3. Wrap Securely

Wrap your device in at least two layers of bubble wrap. Ensure there is no movement inside the box by filling empty spaces with crumpled paper or air pillows.

4. Apply the Label Clearly

Most ResaleGrid partners provide a prepaid label. Print it clearly and tape it securely to the box, ensuring the barcode is flat and scannable.
